Giving Back

We all owe much to the communities in which we work and live. We owe even more to those who protect and defend those communities. For ten years now, Holly Tree Pediatric Dentistry has been on a dual mission to fight cavities and support Upstate troops overseas. Each Halloween, the team at Holly Tree buys back trick-or-treat candy and sends it in care packages to service men and women from the greater Greenville area. They are assisted in their efforts by several area high school Beta Club chapters whose members not only organize school-wide candy drives but also make cards and write notes to include in the finished care packages. Holly Tree’s annual candy buyback provides kids with an alternative Halloween treat, one that doesn’t cause tooth decay! More importantly, though, it offers entire families, some of whom have loved ones in the military, a way to give back to those who sacrifice much in defense of our freedoms and ideals.
